Beach Party Edition 2022

Sungazer Festival 2022 will take place at Kogel Bay Resort in the Western Cape. It is about a 1 hour drive from Cape Town.

There will be a range of electronic music including techno, house, minimal and more. Some of the artists included are Aaron Suiss (USA), GroundBass (Brazil), Rinkadink (Japan), 2Lani The Warrior, Stab Virus, Talia Zaken, Geometric Flux and more.

Sunday Funday will be curated by the Psymedia team. The beach bar will also be open on Sunday.

You will need to be 21 years or older. Please bring your ID to verify age.

No children allowed. This event is for adults 21 years and older.

No pets allowed.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own camping gear and setup in the allocated area. Please arrive early on Saturday (from 11:00 am) in order to choose the best spot!

Kogel Bay Resort has permanent ablution facilities which include showers, urinals and toilets. These are spread throughout the venue. We have also hired additional toilet facilities.

Sunday Funday – R300

There is no difference between early bird, phase 1 and final phase. Each tier is available at a different period of time or until they sell out.

The Sunday Funday tickets allow you to gain access from 05:00 am onwards on Sunday (12 hours of music).

You are welcome to arrive from 11:00 am onwards on Saturday. The music will start at 11:00 am too – come early and enjoy!

If you purchase a Sunday Funday ticket (for only R300), you will be allowed to enter the venue from Saturday, 5:00 am onwards. That means you can enjoy 12 hours of music with 2 international artists (GroundBass and Rinkadink)!

Yes, there is a beautiful 4km stretch of beach. Please only swim during the daytime in the defined area when there are lifeguards on duty.

You will not be allowed to braai or start an open fire due to safety concerns of our guests.

We will have a fully stocked bar and a variety of food options available including veg and beef burgers, smoothies, bacon & egg rolls, wraps, pizzas, snacks, coffee and more. Both cash and card will be accepted.

The price is R200 per person return. Please send a WhatsApp message to 071 823 2307  to book your spot.

The pickup location is McDonald’s Green Point (Fritz Sonnenberg Rd &, Granger Bay Blvd, Green Point, Cape Town, 8051)

The shuttle will depart from Cape Town at 10:00 am on the Saturday, 26 March and return on the Sunday, 27 March 17:30 pm.

Groups of (15 or 22 people) have a privilege to choose pick up location, departing and return time.

You are not allowed to enter the venue on Friday. Doors will open to guests at 11:00 am on Saturday.

No, you do not need to take a COVID-19 test before attending. However, if you are showing symptoms please do not attend the event.

Yes, you will receive a full refund minus booking fees. Alternatively, you can transfer your ticket to our next event.
